Welcome to Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau
When Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau comes up in conversation, thought turns to the marvellous waterways and its magnificent landscapes consisting of, among other things, sugar maple and white pine forests, all of which help make it a destination of choice.
Lakes such as the Thirty-one Mile Lake (one of the most attractive in Quebec and renowned for its crystal clear water) Lac des Pères, Grand Lac Rond, Beaulieu, Marcelin, Michel and de la Vieille attract many visitors. The Gatineau River is another waterway that is gaining in popularity due to the white water activities that take place there.
The white-tail deer yard at Thirty-one Mile Lake is partially located in the municipality of Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau and considered to be the largest continental yard in Quebec. The municipality established a White-tail Deer Interpretation Centre that you will be able to visit when you spend some time here. You will also be able to take in all that nature has to offer by taking a stroll along our 14 km long pedestrian paths.
COME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF! is our motto, and we hope your visit to this site will mark the beginning of a long adventure.
Looking forward to your visit!
