The White-tail Deer Interpretation Center, open from May to October, invites you to come and discover the white-tail deer in its natural habitat and enjoy the 14-km network of hiking trails.

Interpretation Center Slideshow

The trails will give you a closer look at this exceptional animal, described as elegant, clever and even cunning. The trails are open during the summer and closed during the hunting season.

There is no charge but donations are gratefully accepted to help us care for the deer.

The more we study this marvellous creature, the more we learn about its nature and the more we realize how little we actually know about it.

Visiting the Center means...

  • Discovering the white-tail deer when you tour the Interpretation Lodge
  • Admiring our fawns in an enclosure close by
  • These fawns are in rehabilitation before they are released in the fall
  • Our mission is to care for those whose mothers were hit by a car or injured by a predator
  • We care for them, feed them and make sure their return to nature is a huge success

Visiting the Center means...

  • Choosing to hike the 14 km of trails
  • Or choosing to hike one of the 4 loops of the main trail
  • Discovering the beauty of the Rouge Falls
  • Admiring the Lac des Trente-et-un milles (31-Mile Lake) from the magnificent lookout on the Régalis loop
