Permit Application
Before starting any project or any type of work on your property, on your house or accessory buildings, you require a permit or an authorization for :
  • nouvelle construction, réparation ou rénovation (à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur) d’un bâtiment existant;
  • déplacement d’un bâtiment existant sur la propriété;
  • démolition;
  • puits ou prise d’eau;
  • système septique – nouveau ou changement au système existant.
  • New construction, repairs or renovations to an existing building (interior or exterior);
  • Moving a building on your property;
  • Demolition;
  • Well or water intake from the lake;
  • Septic system – new system or changes to existing system.

Why the need for a permit?

A permit ensures that your property is in compliance with municipal by-laws. Also, if you were to sell your property, your property information would be up-to-date.

It is your responsibility to contact the municipal inspector (819-449-4134) to apply for a permit.
